Skyscape in North Cornwall

Cornwall's variable weather produces spectacular skies and seas. This shot is one of a series taken as the clouds started to break, allowing the sun to peep through, throwing intermittent pools of light on the sea. I feel alive and excited taking photos at times like this.

Jane Hutt, Assembly Member for Wales came to meet members of the Vale Business Women's Network on their stand, at the Vale of Glamorgan Show in South Wales, on a scorching August day. I was delighted to be invited to exhibit my fine art landscape photography at the Senedd building in Cardiff next year.

Exhibition at McKenzie Woodward, Gillingham, Dorset

The opening of the McKenzie Woodward bespoke furniture Showroom, at Gillingham in Dorset,
was celebrated with Pimms in the summer sunshine by invited Trade guests on 25th July and by the public on 8th August. I was invited to exhibit some of my fine art landscape work as canvas, acrylics and framed images, as shown in the illustrations. This generated even more interest in my work.

We visited the Light Years 2009 Exhibition by artist Kathyn Thomas at Paintworks, Bristol. Her skyscapes and seascapes, painted in oil on linen, are ethereal, moving and inspiring. This is art that touched my soul.

Killary Fjord, Ireland

24 April 2009 Killary Fjord , Connemara, Ireland- a place to visit before you die, preferably when it's not raining! Rugged scenery, dramatic skies and a warm welcome by the locals in Lennane.

Five tranquil seascapes have been permanently installed in the recently refurbished Radiology Department, at the Royal United Hospital, Bath. Three large acrylic panels are situated in the corridor and two framed images are on the walls in the waiting area for patients, staff and visitors to enjoy.
